My Story
In the fall of 2009, my best friend Sue surprised me with a super early Christmas gift. Inside was a very mysterious object. A candle without a wick! Not only would I never have to light a match again, but the fragrances were like nothing I had experienced before. I had owned my Scentsy for over a year when I ran into an old friend on Facebook who was offering a free Plug-In warmer to anyone who would book a party that week. 3 parties and 15 new addicts later, I decided to become a consultant. I had never really seen myself as an independent consultant for any direct selling company. In fact, I had a pretty strong aversion toward it. But Scentsy is a unique company that I am proud and excited to be a part of! Scentsy has in many ways kept me going. My passion for the product and company and for the people I have met along the way have been one of the strongest reminders that I need to press on and see myself through. I have certainly become a stronger person because of the challenges I've faced but I know I was able to grow due to the support and counsel of a very generous and caring company!
